One day in Giethoorn is enough, so it might be a good idea to combine with a trip to Amsterdam as the village is located 121 kilometres away from there. There are a few ways to reach Giethoorn from Amsterdam, but it’s best to take the train, which will take around 90 minutes for a one-way journey.
